I am almost back home from #openscienceretreat23 which was a great experience! Thanks to all. Now, I am super hyped about #OpenScience and going from talk to walk (my first unconference ever)

In the train after attending the #openscienceretreat23 I asked myself what this week brought me personally. Next to meeting all these awesome people who share the same values, this retreat format stimulates impromptu conversations in nature/during drinks. I had so many people asking me to share my thoughts on career options, on starting your own business and getting into #openscience policy that I am going to develop my mentoring skills to continue doing this. Rewarding and insightful! #happy

I've been loving the birds here in #Kochel this week at the #OpenScienceRetreat23!

The #OpenScienceRetreat23 is off to a great start. Last night we built bridges with lego and got to know each other through images, today we are diving into the unconference topics:

- Theory of #OpenScience
- Large language models and what they mean for Open Science
- Research Software and Usability
- Guidelines for non-toxic science teams -

Kicking off #OpenScienceRetreat23 with some overdue tasks of the #RecognitionRewardsFestival next week.
Next task is to find a better hashtag for that event, because we actually need it to gather input from you on how #RecognitionRewards can be more inclusive of supporting roles in research!
But for now: time to #OpenScience!

My journey has begun! #Eurostar has got me to France so far, I'll be in #Paris in a couple of hours and then I'm pretty psyched to be getting the #NightJet sleeper to #Munich!
