"The Exile" by "Colour Of Fire" started playing in my randomized playlist. A flood of nostalgia came over me. Looking at my Last.fm profile it seems like I haven't played this song since 2010.. This song reminds me a lot of my transformative years when I was a teenager.. late nights.. open-hearted discussions with internet friends..

Upgrading OpenMentions.com
Some of you may know that I help run OpenMentions.com. And by help I mean it is my baby and so all the work is mine too.
For a while now a few shortcomings and missing features have been bothering me. Today, I set out to fix or improve them.

An Open Mentions idea: A small web tag
I have an IndieWeb META suggestion for OpenMentions.com. I was thinking that there should be a topic tag for small web aka smolweb. Should it go under IndieWeb or somewhere else?

@openmentions.com I'm not sure about #OpenMentions but if we all made the effort to say one more kind thing to someone every day, I am pretty sure the world would be a better place.

Added #OpenMentions support to my directory. Now, if there is a close match between a directory page's topics and a topic on Open Mentions, a link can be added to the page descriptor file which will suggest the Open Mentions topic.
