  1. Spent some time today looking at #ESP8266 Code that I haven't looked at in over 2 years. Just verifying that the code still compiles and works.
I realized two things, a lot of ESP8266 devices are the same, just in a slightly different package. This is really true when dealing with the boards that have #OLEDs - Code from one doesn't need to be changed for a different one. (Mostly)
The other thing, I have a lot of just "demo" code I didn't make much with the ESP8266 boards.

  2. Tuning Linkers in Fluorescent Molecules for Improved Organic LEDs

Twisted linkers can enhance acceptor aggregation and promote charge transport between molecules

  3. Lights could soon use the full color suite of perfectly efficient organic light-emitting diodes, or #OLEDs, that last tens of thousands of hours, thanks to an innovation from #physicists and #engineers at the University of Michigan.

  4. #Apple’s headset headache: the tiny and costly displays inside the Vision Pro. The current generation of micro #OLEDs have a resolution of 3,000 pixels per inch (PPI) — six times more than the PPI in a glass OLED display, and greater than the resolution of a state of the art 4K television for each eye.
But the cost of the silicon wafer, the challenge of manufacturing a product, and the fact that no company has yet started mass production all contribute to its high cost. on.ft.com/3rmyG5f

  5. #Organic LEDs, or #OLEDs for short, are characterized by energy efficiency and flexibility. But one challenge lies in the production of blue OLEDs - these have so far lacked #luminance and stability.

  6. #Smartphones could one day become portable #quantum #sensors thanks to a new chip-scale approach that uses organic light-emitting diodes (#OLEDs) to image #magnetic fields, with significant implications for use in #healthcare and industry settings.
