I was struggling with this week's #TuneTuesday theme #OfTheFans, until I remembered "Roxy" from Concrete Blonde. Singer Johnette Napolitano herself is a huge fan of Brian Ferry.
I remember when this album came out and I got my hands on it. It had been YEARS since a CB album, and hearing those first few notes of this, the first track, was an immediate shot of bliss. The lyric "you'll never know, just how much we missed you" was so true!

First up, a dark and brutally funny post-gig hook-up song by #Minneapolis underground hip-hop legends Atmosphere, "Hair" (2002)

Oof. 😮💨 I'm kinda tired this #TuneTuesday afternoon. That won't go away until later tonight when I collapse and fall asleep - but until then there are prompts to consider!

...this sends me to the Dutch #OSDM #DeathMetal lords Asphyx and the title track of their 2009 return album. They had a live reunion gig in 2007 and the rabid fan reaction drove them to enter the studio one more time ->

This week's #TuneTuesday theme is #OfTheFans, songs inspired by a band's fans. At first I had a bit of trouble with this one, but then once I got going I came up with three very different songs from three different eras (three for one special!). So, in chronological order:
