    Небольшой R&D о современных альтернативах Electron для десктоп‑приложений на веб‑технологиях. На одинаковом тестовом приложении (React + TypeScript + Vite) сравниваются ElectroBun, NeutralinoJS и Wails: как устроена их архитектура, каким образом они взаимодействуют с ОС, что происходит под капотом и почему результаты по памяти так сильно отличаются. В статье есть практические наблюдения, замеры потребления ОЗУ, плюсы и минусы каждого подхода, а также рекомендации, в каких сценариях выбирать минималистичный WebView‑подход, полноценный backend на Go или браузерный рантайм с максимально широкой поддержкой Web API и графики.

    Played around with #NeutralinoJS this morning. It’s pretty fucking cool. It uses the OS browser installation rather than bundling a whole #chromium instance with the app. Its basic setup seems simpler than what’s required by #tauri. Now, I just wish I had a use case for it…

    @[email protected] je suis en train de l'essayer justement. Je suis totalement et nodejs n'a pas de fonctions comparables en dehors du web! Me voila donc avec un backend Python et un html/css/js.. Jusqu'a maintenant j'utilisais electron comme "webview" frontend mais c'est ridicule. es plutôt un "web engine", lis directement du fichier ce qui es parfait puisque les app de bureau ont pas besoins de servir HTTP. 🤷‍♂️
