My son, Ranger, competes in high school #archery in the #NASP format. He ranked really well nationally last year & practices year round.
Yesterday in practice, he "Robin Hooded" an arrow by shooting it dead-on with another arrow. The arrows are aluminum, but have a plastic nock that connects to the bow string.
In the first picture, you can see a normal nock. In the second, you can see the nock that was destroyed & the remnants that were pushed into the shaft.
