Here's the 4x5 #JLaneDryPlate (nominally ISO8, but closer to 2 at 7:30am on a partly cloudly London sky). Very pleased with this one.
I decided to take a "maximum close up", with my macro lens. So this area is a bit smaller than half frame. I'd say the grain works at about FP4'ish, maybe a bit more (this is #hc110b).
Plenty of detail!

Framing on the SuperAngulon 90mm f/8 is tricky. The edges are dark without a full dark cloth and a fresnel, but it's not too bad. Didn't quite nail it this time. (sorry for all the hash tags, but there are a couple of extra relevant things running at the moment).

It's great that #analoguePhotography is now so popular that even an incomplete flash gun handle from an #MPPMicroTechnical is expected to draw huge crowds! I expect the price for these things to rocket past the current value of... checks notes... £2.2M (still less than a new one from Linhoff... probably)

I messed up this one badly, if you saw the neg you'd barely be able to tell there's an image. The scan is so flat and ove exposed you can see the LEDs in the panel.
Still has a vibe though. Would have been so good if I'd got it right.
(editted this, I took this on film and plate, this one is from the film fail, not the plate)

I recently got the intrepid 4x5 enlarger light. Not used in anger yet, but I decided to use it to rescan all my old 4x5, and recent glass plates. I've ever liked my old 4x5 scans, but these all came out much better, so I've given them the #darktable treatment. First is a #ZebraDryPlates in #fx55, the rest are all #fomapan100 in #rodinal or fx55. Many had really poor exposure, but we're rescuable.
