Robsart Cottage. That medallion on the end is an "R" for Amy Robsart, wife of Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, who was given Kenilworth Castle by Elizabeth. Amy died from a fall down steps at Cumnor, near Oxford.

The Stone House. A rambling building, the front part allegedly built in the 1750s for a retired sea captain, hence the boat-shaped roof. The courtyard was the site of a thriving horn comb industry. Used to be the home of Dudley Taylor, who built a national pharmacy chain from here.

I'm back from another trip to Cabo de Gata. This time, I was working on my Las Salinas project

Looks like I missed the #FP4party. I shot a roll of FP4 in Mijas, especially, then I went away and missed the posting week! I have attached one of the photos; I hope you like it; better late than never, but I must try harder next year!

I sometimes wonder if I'm getting "boring" taking as many pictures of trees as I do, but then I see some of my favorite photographers on Mastodon also taking a lot of pictures of trees so I feel validated. I love the way that bark looks on B&W film. My wife always gets a chuckle when we're walking and I say “hang on a sec, I gotta get a picture of this great big knobby bastard!”
