When I was a wee girl, sometimes when I couldn't sleep, I would lie on my bed with my head on the windowsill looking at the moon. I would breathe in the sweet dark summer air and fill my eyes with the moon's light. It always seemed so big and magical to me. I didn't know then what I do now about the moon's power, but then again, perhaps I did. I was pulled toward her for a reason, I think. I would call on her sometimes for comfort and she was always there for me. 🌝

They were attached by strings to sticks and inside them were burning coals that illuminated the eyes. Celebrants would also serve food and the living were only allowed to eat it after inviting ancestors to join them. This was called a dumb supper, where the food sat available for spirits to enjoy as the living regaled them with tales from their lives and entertained them with games and songs.

These days, we might set out some food or candy for our ancestors as an offering, light candles so that they can find their way to us, and sing prayers to them at night. However you choose to celebrate, be sure to say hello to your loved ones who've passed and be respectful.

Last night, a woman in spirit came to me, as spirits often do when I'm trying to sleep, and said she had been "exploited by the catholic church." She had also been in my dreams prior to this. In the dream, she was a sex worker being held against her will. As she was trying to escape, an old man ran after her screaming, "I am your bishop!"

Yikes! She told me that the man had been 75 years old. She never said, but they *may* have had a hand in her death.

So, basically, what I gathered is that the catholic church is *potentially* trafficking sex to priests who can't be bothered to uphold their vows of celebacy. I'd say someone should be looking into that, but what do I know?
