Interestingly, with less than 10 minutes to go on Elon Musk's crowdsourced CEO question, I have noticed that the new official Twitter "Promotion of alternative social platforms policy", which effectively banned Twitter users from linking to other social media platforms (incl. Mastodon, Facebook, Instagram, and others) seems to have been taken down.
It was last online last night - according to Waybackmachine

The #Twitter Policy page pictured below explicitly prohibited the following platforms:
"Facebook, Instagram, #Mastodon, Truth Social, Tribel, Post and Nostr. 3rd-party social media link aggregators such as linktr.ee, lnk.bio"

I can no longer freely repost my tweet about where people can find me on Mastodon without being warned that I might be violating Twitter policy. This is the warning given. I have not clicked "continue." This follows the banning of a bunch of journalists last night from Twitter.
