Fun developments overnight
The #TwitterSupport ratioed tweets about external linking have disappeared.
The mentions of #Mastdon and other networks have disappeared from the #Twitter Help Center.
Elmo has a poll asking if he should step down, and he'll FOR REALSIES totally abide by the result.
Still can't post a link to mastodon profile in a message, so I guess this linking thing has become a #ShadowPolicy
If only US politics had this kind of vote margine.

Seems like #TwitterSupport retracted the new policy about outside links. Still not going to post more on #Twitter. Soon it will be completely dead.

Not sure of the exact time It went into effect appx 10:00 am PST on 12/18/2022. It is up as of 11:48 am PST 12/12/2022 https://help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies/social-platforms-policy I did a complete set of screen shots as proof
I placed the text in the descriptions for the visually impaired as we do here on Mastodon 🙂

I hate to say it as "follower" and user +/- since 2008.
