We just got the Mastodon 4.3 update for the instance I'm on.
The visuals area really good looking I need to check if I can find other nice features.
Really like the new compose box and clearer overall visuals.

Ever since my update to Mastodon 4.0.2, the checkboxes have disappeared from pending trending hashtags. But only in mobile view. It is just fine from a desktop browser. Does anyone else see this? #Mastodon4 #Mastodon

I updated mastodon. It seems to have worked except I get “We’re sorry, but something went wrong on our end” with zero explanation as to where to look. But, Mastodon on the app seems to work. #mastodon #instance #mastodon4 #admin

@anildash There is a feature native to Mastodon called “feature on profile,” which allows you to “feature” users and hashtags as recommended, although as of #Mastodon4, these…don’t actually display anywhere.

Hashtag following is such a cool feature. No need to fork over individual accoubts whe I can just follow the topic.

One thing I've noticed about Mastodon v4.0.2 is that unlike a previous version, it doesn't allow for both searching for hashtags in one box while typing a post in another box of the same window. One has to open two Mastodon windows to accomplish this in v4.0.2, which is not as convenient.

Pas ses commentaires, pas son flood, pas ses échanges + ou - houleux et/ou intéressants.

Der Entwickler von #Metatext zieht sich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen für eine unbestimmte Zeit zurück. Die App wird erst einmal nicht weiterentwickelt und bekommt auch keine neuen Funktionen wie sie seit #Mastodon4 möglich wären. Das ist Schade, aber nachvollziehbar. Die Gesundheit geht immer vor.
Momentan teste ich deshalb die @tootapp und auch wenn alle deren Design loben, ist sie in meinen Augen nicht so schick und simpel wie es Metatext ist. Dafür kann Toot! aber mehr. 😐

Par contre, pour l'instant, sur les profiles des gens qui pouettent en anglais et allemand, je ne vois qu'une case à cocher pour l'allemand (alors que c'est plutôt leurs pouets en anglais que je voudrais voir 😅).

Any time you're reading a #hashtag thread there's a button on at least the web interface, that you can click and follow like you can already follow people.
Not thrilled with the icon you have to click. It should probably be an # with a plus in it.
(pedantic girl says yes it's an 'an #' the name of the character is octothorpe I kid you not.)
