  6. Going through old photos. Came across this, taken on Manitoulin Island, in norther Ontario. As anyone every seen fencing like this? On one hand, it seems maybe easier to maintain, but on the other, seems to require a lot more wood.

  16. I was processing some of my #vacation #photography from August and thought I'd share some randoms from my hike on the Cup & Saucer trail on #Manitoulin Island (you should go, its very peaceful).
I really wish I'd taken the time to adjust my aperture with the berries shot, it would be much nicer without the unnecessarily narrow focal range. Alas.

  21. To shelter victims of the housing crisis, this #Manitoulin Island innkeeper has taken in long-term tenants

    cbc.ca/news/canada/sudbury/man

"It's one of the oldest buildings on Manitoulin Island, and is celebrated by locals for its food, nightlife and history — but the Anchor Inn can't welcome overnight guests until at least 2024, perhaps 2025.

All its rooms have been taken up by longer-term tenants who had nowhere else to go due to the #housing #shortage in the area."
