Last night at 1am, clear sky and the "peak" of the #Lyrids of which I saw exactly 1 in two hours. Did some star trails again hoping to capture meteors as well, but only got satellites.
May as well become a satellite spotter for all that I can change anything.

Lyrids meteor shower peaks on Tuesday
Observations of the Lyrids date back around 2,700 years meaning it is one of the oldest-known meteor showers.
The fireballs are created by debris from Comet Thatcher, which takes more than 400 years to orbit the Sun and was discovered in 1861 by A. E. Thatcher.
They are named after the constellation Lyra and the radiant position, which is where the meteors appear to emanate from, is south-west of the star Vega.

It was very cool to be able to see the Northern Lights over Wisconsin last Sunday/Monday. At one point they were covering 3/4 of the sky. And then I remembered I had a camera in the house, here's a couple of the better shots. I was loving the glow through the trees, all mystical forest like, and even caught a few of the Lyrids.
