#OTD Robert Frost, American #Poet, died. He was 88.47 years earlier, Robert wrote a #Poem about a girl who asks her father for a little piece of land to start a #Garden. The result was a poem called A Girl's Garden (1916).
Robert also wrote a short but #Sweet garden poem called #Lodged ❤️:
The #Rain to the #Wind said,
'You push, & I'll pelt.'
They so #Smote the garden bed
That the #Flowers actually knelt,
& lay lodged — though not dead.I know how the flowers felt.
