Rally in Sydney went well. The first speaker, Scott Franks, from the Plains Clans of the Wonnarua people, was a powerful storyteller with a real presence.

Especially loved the singing with the Knitting Nannas. The Red Rebels added drama and colour.

So many wonderful and caring activists showed up to put pressure on the Minns government to say no to the massive Hunter Valley Operations coal mine expansion proposal.

Going to a Lock the Gate's Raise Your Voice Against Coal Mine Expansions rally in Sydney this weekend. It's at 10am Saturday 8 August in Martin Place.

It's a peaceful protest and there'll be singing as well as speakers.
