You may have noticed things looking a little different across the LibreVerse lately. Our development team has been hard at work making LibreTexts platforms and resources more accessible in line with the new Title II guidelines, starting with an upgrade to a high visibility font. This is just the beginning. More accessibility improvements are on the way!

#LibreTexts was the focal point of two workshops hosted by the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges #OERI team this past weekend. Nearly 100 eager participants gathered to learn about using #LibreTexts' greater #LibreVerse of technologies for creating, editing, adapting, and curating #OER, as well as our open #homework and assessment platform, #ADAPT.

Registration for our fall LibreFest/OctoberFest is now open. The workshop will be held virtually on October 7, from 9-3 PST. OctoberFest is a scaled down version of our annual summer LibreFest but will cover everything the #LibreTexts #LibreVerse has to offer including: creating, editing, remixing, and publishing #OER, as well as an intro to our #open #homework and #assessment platform, #ADAPT. @lightweight thanks for asking. We use #open to primarily mean the 5R's codified via #CreativeCommons and #GNU licensing. We do have some content that doesn't follow this (e.g. content w/ an ND clause); in these cases #open
means #OpenAccess. Everything created on the #LibreTexts site is #OER open.For code, we refer primarily to GNU and MIT licensed open-source content.
