@Scott Unfortunately I also haven't found an (accessible) way to do that properly. So what I'm doing is, given that my branch is up-to-date with the remote, to look up the exact line numbers in my editor and then append them to the URL I want to send to someone in the style #L15-L45. The full URL would then look like the following example: https://github.com/GStoob/commandline-utils-sample/blob/master/src/Samples.CommandLineUtils/Program.cs#L15-L45. Hope this helps.

I think some of the "L" ThinkPad models are a good value.
I especially like that on the L15 and L14 Gen 1 and 2 that there are two memory slots and no memory is soldered to the motherboard.
In contrast, I recently got a ThinkPad T15 Gen 1 with soldered memory that's failing. I can't sell it that way, so will have to replace the motherboard or keep it around for parts in hopes that I'll be able to use them someday. Costly loss and frustrating.

Just got off the phone with a long time customer. He saw a message on his computer about Windows 10 ending support and he gave me a call.
He's still using a ThinkPad T510 that I sold him many years ago.
The T510 does not have UEFI booting, so not a good candidate for the "work around" Windows 11 upgrade.
I think a refurbished ThinkPad L15 Gen 2 will be a good replacement laptop for him. Will be reserving one for him.

É impressionante não existir nem mesmo uma CPI chulé com final previsível (terminar em pizza). Ninguém escrutina nada. Ninguém é apontado como negligente, de lado nenhum, nem no Metrô, nem nas contratadas. A China construiu uma linha com o mesmo material rodante e os trens não trepidam.

Swapped wifi cards and SSDs. #Fedora 34 and #Ubuntu 20.04 weren't seeing the #Realtek wifi card in the #L15, so I moved the intel #ax200 wifi/Bluetooth card over.
Ordered the L15 with the smallest SSD (and RAM) option, which was 256G.
Soooo, in the first few hours of ownership:
- Windows -> Fedora 34
- Realtek wifi -> Intel wifi
- 256gb nvme ssd -> 512 nvme ssd (I don't require that capacity but might as well)
- add an 8G DDR4 3200 SODIMM leftover from when I got the ASRock X300 (2 slots ftw)
