I think some of the "L" ThinkPad models are a good value.

I especially like that on the L15 and L14 Gen 1 and 2 that there are two memory slots and no memory is soldered to the motherboard.

In contrast, I recently got a ThinkPad T15 Gen 1 with soldered memory that's failing. I can't sell it that way, so will have to replace the motherboard or keep it around for parts in hopes that I'll be able to use them someday. Costly loss and frustrating.

Zum Akku sagt die Dame von der Lenovo-Hotline, dass man einen Wechsel durch die Profis durchführen lassen sollte - sie hätte da auch gleich noch ein passendes Service-Paket sehr günsitg. Auf Nachfrage dann, dass man es auch selbst machen könne und explizit dadurch nicht die Garantie erlischt. Dazu sei die Abdeckung aufzuschrauben.

Ich bin ja skeptisch, ob das mit der Garantie dann im Ernstfall tatsächlich so auch gilt. Aber so war die Auskunft.

Auch zur grundsätzlichen Einordung wurden Worte gesprochen:
#T590 ist die eigentliche Business-Linie, #L590 qualitativ etwas sparsamer besetzt. #T15 sei der Nachfolger von T590 mit krass-neuem Zeugs.

Jetzt weiß ich voll Bescheid.
