A clarification for others at #EMFCamp regarding my necessity to have access to my electric wheelchair (stored when not in use in the boot of my car because it can't go into my caravan and why the car has to park next to the caravan), I effectively only have one working lung and get breathless very easily. Please understand that I can't always reply quickly because of this, I'm not being rude!
(Technically I have "right diaphragmatic palsy* with superimposed dysfunctional breathing")

@tony I have to say that requirements to physically do this or that in social situations are inherently #disablist / #ableist. It ought to be that an action is appropriate if you believe / feel that you need to take that specific action. As a #wheelie / #disablie I cannot perceive of sitting as an offensive action: if it is not ‘wrong’ for me, by extension it cannæ be wrong for anyone else. I hope that makes sense.
