Originally, "apocalypse" meant a life-rending revelation. It was something you passed through, leaving you irrevocably altered. A vision. David Tibet had so many visions, I have to wonder how often he touched reality.

(Yes, the UK weird music scene in the 80s had a bunch of non-ironic fash, but thankfully Tibet walked away from those jerks. It sucks when folks you grow up with turn out to be assholes.)
