Today's random thought: What if there was a gargoyle clan based in New Orleans. I had to sketch them out. From left to right:
Gallier, the leader, a portly, strong-fat kind of guy. He fights when he has to, but his real power is de-escalation and diplomacy. New Orleans is called the "Big Easy" for a reason, after all. He's generally kind, but can have a sharp tongue when the need calls for it.
Toussaint, the right hand, a seemingly unassuming guy, but can flip a switch and become a problem on the battlefield for the enemy. He has aspirations to start his own clan, but for now he's loyal to this one.
Lafitte, the mentor, possibly the progenitor of the New Orleans clan when brought over from the Old World. Full of knowledge, but despises being in any sort of leadership. Perhaps an outcast from his former clan from way back when.
Pontchartrain (aka Pontch), the brute, mandatory gym himbo and likely the youngest of the bunch. He has a strong hero complex and throws himself into a fight if it means protecting innocents, which gets him in more trouble than anything else at times.
Cabildo, the nerd, though honestly it is a relative term. Nothing to the level of Lexington of the Manhattan Clan, but he is the most tech savvy of the group. He's also rather politically active and cuts right to the heart of an argument.
Yeah, I'm working with mostly the framework of the original Gargoyles cast, but I like these boys!
