I think it is worth questioning whether it would actually have changed anything, though, for #SuperSentai itself, if all the money were being made outside Japan. Certainly it would have meant #PowerRangers continued to sell, and they'd been re-dubbing it back into Japanese for ages, so maybe it would have made sense to focus on the English show anyway. But initial filming is where all the expense is and why PR was so easy to do on the cheap and make all the money in the world on. But toys are toys, as long as only one company is making them. And that's what wasn't happening anymore. That's the profit center of it all.

The Goose Was Not Valued.

I'm not saying Hasbro made a mistake buying up Power Rangers. Just that their calculus didn't pan out for literally anyone because they were banking on someone else providing the necessary tools they lacked, which Bandai didn't. On paper, assuming someone would want in was reasonable. But there are only so many options because Disney owns everything now.
