This Week at Juiced! Raleigh – Open Mic, First Friday, Poetry and Smoothie Specials

Juiced! Raleigh is serving more than smoothies this week. The community-focused juice bar will host an open mic, a First Friday celebration, a poetry café and pop-up bookstore, and a work-from-anywhere smoothie special from September 3–7, 2026.

Juiced! operates two Raleigh locations, but this week’s featured community events are centered around its Hill Street location at 434 Hill Street and the neighboring Herndon Place event space at 432 Hill Street. ⁠

Smooth Talk Open Mic

Date: Thursday, September 3, 2026
Time: 8–11 p.m.
Admission: Free
Location: Juiced!, 434 Hill Street, Raleigh

Smooth Talk Open Mic welcomes performers and creators from across the Triangle. Dancers, comedians, magicians, poets, entrepreneurs, rappers, podcast hosts and other talented community members are invited to showcase what they love.

Performers should arrive early to register for a spot. The open mic takes place every Thursday from 8–11 p.m., according to the official Smooth Talk Open Mic listing⁠.

First Fridays on Da Hill: The Grand Finale

Date: Friday, September 4, 2026
Time: 6 p.m.
Location: Herndon Place, 432 Hill Street, Raleigh

The 2026 First Fridays on Da Hill series concludes with a grand finale featuring DJ World Wide Steve. Hosted by Juiced!, the neighborhood celebration brings music and community energy to Hill Street.

The series has become a gathering place for Southeast Raleigh residents, local businesses, creatives and visitors. Previous editions have included DJs, vendors, food, games and activities.

2 Dope Bros Write Books Poetry Café and Pop-Up Bookstore

Juiced! transforms into a poetry café, pop-up bookstore and creative gathering space during its collaboration with 2 Dope Bros Write Books.

The experience combines books, poetry, art, relaxing music and community conversation in an inviting café atmosphere. The series is scheduled for the first and third Saturdays of each month through September from 1–5 p.m. Because September 5 is the month’s first Saturday, it falls within the published recurring schedule.

Visitors should confirm the September 5 session with Juiced! or the event organizer before attending.

Work Remote Monday

Admission: Free
Special: $6 regular 20-ounce Super Smoothies

Remote workers, freelancers, entrepreneurs and students can spend Monday working in a peaceful community environment while enjoying a discounted smoothie.
