About 30min into the gig, the singer had to take a break to glue his fingers. Playing on tour for a while, he basically destroys the fingers of his left handing playing guitar and they don't heal fast enough. So to keep playing, he puts a nailpolish-like glue on. After that it was a bit painful to watch him play, but being a professional, he delivered a show. #Johnossi

Some thoughts on the concert yesterday. It was a strange one. I remembered how I loved the music, I was expecting more dance, but people kept quite quiet, little clapping, jumping only really on the last two songs. There was a bit of singing, but notably only only on the older songs (I also only knew the old lyrics, so same shame on me), #johnossi

I just put out a quick post about a short EP by the Swedish band #Johnossi. It's roots, jangle, 90s alternative, and post-punk revival all at once. It's a series of interpretations of other artists music for, of all things, a Swedishreality show. It's amazing stuff.

Listening to some #Johnossi. I can't tell if I like it because it reminds me of later 80s/early 90s alternative, especially Toronto bands like Blue Rodeo and Lowest of the Low, or because it's just that damn good. I suppose both are possible.
