- fails to enforce session hours limits while working with Data

- browses vacation options while pretending to listen to a client

Holy smokes! Can we please take a moment to appreciate Ed Speleers as Jack Crusher? He is incredibly good. His persona carries about the same gravitas as Picard, but let it be said that he has his own presence on that set that keeps you at the edge of your seat and we’re all here for it.
Also, Gates McFadden, gave me all the Ellen Ripley vibes. I love seen Dr Crusher back and doing justice to TNG.

Holy smokes! Can we please take a moment to appreciate Ed Speleers as Jack Crusher? He is incredibly good. His persona carries about the same gravitas as Picard, but let it be said that he has his own presence on that set that keeps you at the edge of your seat and we’re all here for it.
Also, Gates McFadden, gave me all the Ellen Ripley vibes. I love seen Dr Crusher back and doing justice to TNG.

Consensus within the #StarTrek #Slack at work is that the writers are really going to have to move mountains to have the #JackCrusher character not ruin the legacy of both #Beverly and #Picard.

That's probably overstating it a bit, but it's just so far out of character for either of them...

And yet, everyone who has seen the rest of the season (#IngloriousTreksperts etc) sings its praises. So there has to be something more to it... right?

#JackCrusher Yes! I'm so glad they didn't go another direction with that one but I'm shocked that we're to believe the Captain, etc needed Beverly to confirm any of this. They just beamed them all aboard and should have comprehensive data about their genetics just lying in the ship's computer. I understand Picard may just not have wanted the confirmation but why would Captain Shaw not avail himself of the info.?
