My amazing wife got this for me for Christmas. I was resigned to not getting one due to epic levels of skintness on my part.
This is the last I’ll see of it before it goes back on the shipping box until the 25th!What an incredible job the Lego people have done. Even better to know that my friends at Lego were the ones that got this set going on the first place and it was in the hands of some of Lego’s best and brightest. You’ve made this Trekkie’s millennium.

At TerrifiCon last weekend I met one of my heros. In the mid-1990s Boole & Babbage got the rights to film a commercial on the set of Star Trek: The Next Generation. They hired Jonathan Frakes to speak at events, and I was hired to speak at one in Boston. We talkid for a few minutes before going on stage.
I remember that conversation as though it were last week. #startrek #sttng #frakes
