I feel like somewhere along the road we lost control of what cannot be "free" speech.

We have to wait for people to riot, then wait another 4-6 years for investigations to track back to him, indict, then another x years while he delays court cases, like his mentor, Trump.

Although I guess one does not muse that his assassination would be a benefit of the person who is your mentor.

I've been sitting on this link for over a month because quite frankly, I wasn't sure how "real" this story actually is. Which isn't to say I thought the story was fake, just that it's entirely possible some fascist Trump-loving retired spook just decided to aggrandize himself by declaring he was Trump's “future secretary of retribution” and drew up a target list of MAGA's political enemies all on his own. Given the video I just watched however, and everything we've learned about what Project 2025 is over the past few months, I'm not so sure this isn't a news story worth examining.

"Trump’s loyal surrogates have duly embraced the project — perhaps no one more zealously than Ivan Raiklin, a retired Army Reserve lieutenant colonel and former U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency employee, who bills himself as the former and would-be president’s “future secretary of retribution.”

Raiklin is seeking to enlist so-called “constitutional” sheriffs in rural, conservative counties across the country to detain Trump’s political enemies. Or, as he says, carry out “live-streamed swatting raids” against individuals on his “Deep State target list.”

Now look, like I noted at the top, I honestly have no way of knowing how real this is; after all, this Raiklin guy could be just another fascist grifter who drank the whole pitcher of Kool-aid and is now lost in nazi fantasy land. But when an ex-U.S. intelligence officer, who is connected with former Trump national security advisor Michael Flynn, starts traveling around to speak to law enforcement officers involved in the objectively fascist "Constitutional Sheriffs" movement, about a plan to deputize 75,000 military veterans and use them to arrest 350 high-profile "political enemies" of the Trump administration, at the same time Trump himself is declaring he's the "instrument" of MAGA's "retribution" and the chuds at Heritage Foundation are planning a Christian Nationalist dictatorship in America if Trump wins the presidency, maybe it's not such a wise idea to dismiss all this as a fascist fever dream after all. The fact that Jamie Raskin took it seriously enough to go on record about it and demand key GOP leaders denounce the plan isn't really making me confident this is all just the work of some nazi bullshitter either, if I'm being honest with you.
