My theory on the nature of the #Evangelist death cult that has captured the #US #government via the #HeritageFoundation: #Evangelists have adopted Marcionism, a belief that sees the creator god in the OT as the devil, & the world he created as the false world. 10. Project 2025 Blueprint Versus The Second Trump Administration: A Narrative Comparison of Consequences

Editor’s Note: I struggled with Google’s NotebookLLM to get a decent comparison. I am learning its functions. It fails often. Anyway, here’s a comparison to real world events since Trump’s inauguration until now, and how any of those actions parallel the Project 2025 document from the Heritage Foundation (his Playbook). I made some edits, and my formatting. –DrWeb

Project 2025 Blueprint Versus The Second Trump Administration: A Narrative Comparison of Consequences

The philosophical premise driving the actions of the second Trump administration is rooted in the belief, articulated in the Mandate for Leadership 2025 document, that the American political elite has steered the nation toward decline. The authors assert that the federal government itself is a “behemoth, weaponized against American citizens and conservative values“, and the existing bureaucratic system is “not even close to the worst example of this corruption”. Therefore, the entire purpose of the transition effort is framed as the necessary deconstruction of the current system to restore the Republic to its “original moorings”.

This mandate translated directly into aggressive action immediately following the January 20, 2025, inauguration of Trump. Analyses confirmed a high degree of correlation between the blueprint and the administration’s policies. Within the first 100 days, analysts noted that more than 30 out of 47 initial executive actions matched or partially aligned with Project 2025 proposals. Furthermore, in less than a year, the administration began implementing almost half of Project 2025’s domestic policy To-Do List.

    I. The Systematic Dismantling of the Administrative State

The primary goal of Project 2025—to dismantle the Administrative State—was executed through rapid and comprehensive personnel and structural changes:

The key mechanism for deconstructing the federal bureaucracy was the reinstatement of the concept behind the Trump administration’s previous “Schedule F” proposal. This was accomplished through the immediate signing of the order “RESTORING ACCOUNTABILITY TO POLICY-INFLUENCING POSITIONS WITHIN THE FEDERAL WORKFORCE,” aimed at stripping civil service protections from policy-influencing career roles. The Project 2025 blueprint views the federal workforce, where the dismissal rate is historically well below 1 percent, as lacking accountability relative to the private sector.

    DOGE AI image, DDW Library…

The execution of this mission was entrusted largely to the controversial Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk. While Project 2025 proposed detailed, structural reforms, DOGE’s approach was often described as hasty and chaotic. DOGE eliminated entire agencies, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and USAID. This drive toward efficiency resulted in the layoff or planned layoff of 280,253 federal workers and contractors across 27 agencies, an action described in the sources as exceeding the specific, detailed methods recommended in the policy blueprint. The appointment of Russ Vought, an author of part of the Project 2025 guide, to lead the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), provided direct policy linkage, fulfilling the demand that political leaders, not careerists, must drive agency agendas.

II. Cultural, Educational, and Regulatory Rollbacks

The administration also moved swiftly to implement cultural policies outlined in the blueprint:

On Day One, the administration signed an executive order ending all Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs within the federal government. This aligns precisely with Project 2025’s demand to delete DEI, abortion, and gender equality “from every federal rule, agency regulation, contract, grant, regulation, and piece of legislation”. Regarding healthcare and gender policy, the administration was directed to withdraw March 2022 guidance on gender-affirming care and issued an order effectively barring transgender people from serving in the armed forces. Furthermore, a directive was issued to the Secretaries of Defense and Homeland Security to reinstate service members discharged for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine and to restore their rank.

Department of Education AI image, DDW Library…

In education, the goal was to cripple public education. The administration took steps to dismantle the Department of Education via executive order, aligning with the Project 2025 goal of replacing federal oversight with state and local control. The administration also targeted academic funding. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced it would unilaterally cap the amount of funding for “indirect costs” at 15% for federally funded research. This fulfilled a specific Project 2025 goal to reduce taxpayer “subsidization of leftist agendas” in universities.

III. Energy, Environmental Policy, and Targeted Agency Actions

Deregulation and the reversal of climate policy were immediate priorities, consistent with the blueprint’s assertion that regulations threaten American communities:

The administration formally initiated the withdrawal of the U.S. from the Paris Climate Accords and UNESCO, reflecting the blueprint’s goal of abandoning international organizations that erode sovereignty. Deregulatory actions immediately targeted environmental efforts by eliminating incentives for electric vehicles. A key target was the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Project 2025 explicitly called for NOAA to be “dismantled,” asserting that its Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) component was the “source of much of NOAA’s climate alarmism”. The administration subsequently attacked NOAA and dismissed scientists compiling the National Climate Assessments. The administration went beyond weakening regulations by pursuing repealing greenhouse gas standards altogether for fossil-fueled power plants.

Climate Change AI image, DDW Library…

    IV. Addressing Specific High-Consequence Actions

The below specific real-world consequences were analyzed against the Project 2025 agenda:

    ICE AI image, DDW Library…
    • Forced Deployment of National Guard Troops: The administration federalized the California National Guard and deployed them along with Marines to Los Angeles against the wishes of the governor and mayor, and federal forces were sent to Memphis. While Project 2025 specifically mentioned using federal forces for border operations, this action aligns with the spirit of Project 2025 to assert maximalist federal control over domestic security issues, particularly in response to civil unrest.
    • Threat to Resume Nuclear Testing: The administration’s policy position is in Direct Alignment and Implementation of the Project 2025 defense policy proposal. The blueprint recommends the President reject ratification of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty and signal a willingness to conduct nuclear tests in response to adversary developments, further directing the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) to move to immediate test readiness.
    • Aggressive Immigration Enforcement (ICE and Deportation): The administration initiated procedures for mass deportations (37,660 people were deported in the first month). It expanded detention capacity, including the Guantanamo Migrant Operations Center and “Alligator Alcatraz”. These actions align with the blueprint’s goal to end illegal immigration and drastically expand detention centers to 100,000 beds daily. Furthermore, the administration issued daily deportation quotas for ICE officers and ended the policy that restricted immigration arrests in “sensitive areas” such as courthouses, schools, and churches.
    • Refugee Policy and Favoring White South Africans: The administration implemented a suspension of refugee entry under the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. This fulfilled the Project 2025 goal of “rightsizing refugee admissions”. The administration was specifically criticized for fast-tracking the applications of 59 white South African refugees.
    • Demolition of the White House East Wing: The demolition is related to the privately funded White House State Ballroom. This action is categorized as Outside the direct policy mandates of Project 2025, as the blueprint focuses on structural executive branch policy, not physical construction projects.
    • Political Targeting and Ethics: Although actions like the unprecedented targeting of law firms and the alleged repeal of ethics rules are Outside the explicit policy mandates of Project 2025, they align with the administration’s overall focus on retribution and the maximalist assertion of executive power over perceived political enemies.
East Wing destroyed image, DDW Library…

The sources confirm that the administration’s execution of its agenda since January 20, 2025, represents a powerful convergence with the detailed policy framework of Project 2025. The blueprint provided the conservative ideology and policy menu, and the administration’s actions provided the rapid, often radical, implementation.

  11. From 2014... How #USEvangelicals Fueled the Rise of #Russia’s ‘#ProFamily’ Right

An alliance is born between #AntiGay, #AntiAbortion American groups and the #RussianOrthodoxChurch

by Adam Federman, January 7, 2014

Long excerpt [pay attention to the names named!] :

"This rising #Russian social #conservative movement frequently invokes the argument that #ProGay and #WomensRights groups are puppets of the West, which is seeking to undermine Russian autonomy and interfere in the country’s internal affairs. At an annual meeting of journalists and academics presided over by Vladimir #Putin in Valdai in September, the Russian president said that European countries had strayed from their roots by legalizing #GayMarriage. He urged Russians to embrace the conservative values of the #OrthodoxChurch and other traditional religions and issued a warning to those who might want to challenge those values. 'Russia’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity are unconditional—these are red lines no one is allowed to cross,' he declared.

"Several #LGBT rights groups have been targeted under another new law, which requires any nongovernmental organization that receives funding from other countries for political activities to register as a '#ForeignAgent.' Failure to do so can lead to investigations, legal action or crippling fines. The implication is that these groups are not only agents of the West but also out of touch with everyday Russians.

"The irony is that it is the new conservative vanguard—anti-gay, anti-abortion and pro–'#TraditionalFamily'—that has most successfully cultivated the West’s financial and institutional support. Scott Lively, an extreme anti-gay campaigner, all but took credit for the new law, calling it 'one of the proudest achievements of my career,' while #BrianBrown, president of the #NationalOrganizationForMarriage, visited Moscow with much fanfare just before the new law was passed. But the language of Russia’s anti-gay and anti-abortion movement seems to borrow most heavily from mainstream evangelicals and conservative politicians in the United States and Europe. Referring to the anti-abortion bill passed in 2011, Lyubov Erofeeva, executive director of the Russian Association for Population and Development, a women’s advocacy group, said: 'It was 100 percent clear that everything was copied from the experience of American #fundamentalists and conservative circles of several European countries where #abortion is forbidden or restricted severely.'

"The church’s close ties with American evangelicals reflect a shift in policy. For much of the post-Soviet period, the Russian Orthodox Church held evangelical denominations at arm’s length, fearing that they would compete for influence within Russia. But as the church has consolidated its power, it has come to view the evangelical community as a partner. 'The #ROC realizes that the evangelical denominations are not their opponents but rather their allies in the relations between the church and the secular population,' says Olga Kazmina, a professor of ethnology at Moscow State University.

" 'It’s a re-envisioned paradigm,' says Father #LeonidKishkovsky, head of the Orthodox Church in America’s Department of External Affairs. In many ways, it makes sense, he adds: both religious groups share an ideological commitment and have grown disillusioned with the way mainline churches have dealt with issues like gay marriage and abortion. 'But what I’m quite nervous about is the ideological core which actually motivates both sides,' Kishkovsky says. 'Where is the motivating force? Is it in faith? Or is it in political ideology?'

"The Russian Orthodox Church’s chief emissary to the US evangelical community is #HilarionAlfeyev, a high-ranking bishop and chairman of the powerful Department of External Church Relations (the position previously held by #PatriarchKirill). In February 2011, the 47-year-old Alfeyev traveled to Washington, where he met with prominent evangelical and 'pro-family' leaders; and then to Dallas, where he addressed thousands of members of the Highland Park Presbyterian Church and emphasized the importance of 'creat[ing] new alliances,' especially around issues of marriage, abortion and the family. Alfeyev also visited the #DallasTheologicalSeminary and had an hour-long meeting with #GeorgeWBush.

"The trip to Dallas grew out of an increasingly close friendship between church leaders and a small circle of American and European Christian businessmen in Moscow. Alfeyev’s visit was organized by #JerryFullinwider, an #OilExecutive and elder of the #HighlandParkChurch who, until recently, had business interests in Russia. Fullinwider, a member of the #KochBrothers’ circle of major donors—those who have given more than $1 million to #Koch-related causes—met Alfeyev through his friend Bob Foresman, head of #Barclays Capital in Russia. This select group of businessmen has unusual access to Alfeyev. In an interview for this article, Fullinwider described having dinner at Alfeyev’s private residence on a recent trip to Moscow. 'He’s a real busy guy,' says Fullinwider. 'He’s very, very hard to get in touch with unless you have a special number and you know the main guy who handles him, who’s a good friend of mine.'

"Alfeyev’s first trip to the United States paved the way for others, and in October 2012 he delivered a lecture at Villanova University, where he received an honorary degree and paid a visit to the Milwaukee-based #LyndeAndHarryBradleyFoundation. One of the largest donor organizations of its kind in the United States, the #BradleyFoundation, with more than $600 million in assets, is known for its contributions to US conservative groups like the #HeritageFoundation and the #HeartlandInstitute. But its charity isn’t limited to home: over the last four years, the foundation has given $750,000 to the St. Gregory the Theologian Charity Foundation in Moscow, a new educational and cultural initiative founded in 2009 by Alfeyev, Russian #billionaire and pharmaceutical magnate #VadimYakunin, and #LeonidSevastianov, a 35-year-old international business consultant and head of Stratinvest.ru, a consulting and public relations firm. In 2009, through Alfeyev’s charity, the Bradley Foundation donated $150,000 to support the 'Day of the Family,' a recently created Russian holiday honoring faith and fidelity. The annual event has been championed by #SvetlanaMedvedeva, wife of Prime Minister #DmitriMedvedev, a staunch #AntiAbortion advocate.

“We want to promote the idea of the unity between the West and Russia on the basis of common Christian roots,” Sevastianov told Inside the Vatican magazine in 2009. “We believe in this alliance among traditional Christian countries…and we believe that, with a united voice, we can be a strong force against the radical secular world which has become dominant in our societies.”

This sort of potential conflict is why the judiciary has rules against both political activity and fundraising, they said. 'Parties litigating in the court before #JusticeThomas don’t know the extent of Thomas’ relationship with the parties on the other side,' said James Sample, a Hofstra University law professor who studies judicial ethics. 13. #ClarenceThomas Secretly Participated in #KochBrothers Network Donor Events

by Joshua Kaplan, Justin Elliott and Alex Mierjeski
    Sept. 22, 2023, 5 a.m. EDT

Excerpt: "Thomas has attended at least two Koch donor summits, putting him in the extraordinary position of having helped a political network that has brought multiple cases before the Supreme Court.

" 'In the 15 years since, the Koch network has left a deep imprint on American society. Its advocacy is credited with helping stamp out Republican Party support for combating #ClimateChange, once an issue that drew bipartisan concern. The “full weight of the network” was thrown behind passing the 2017 #TrumpTaxCut, securing a windfall for the Kochs and their donors. And the upcoming Supreme Court term could bring the network a victory it has pursued for years: overturning a major legal precedent known as #Chevron.

"While most Americans aren’t familiar with the 1984 case Chevron v. #NRDC, it’s one of the Supreme Court’s most-cited decisions. Legal scholars sometimes mention it in the same breath as Brown v. Board of Education and Roe v. Wade. In essence, Chevron is about government agencies’ ability to issue regulations. After a law is enacted, it’s generally up to agencies across the government to make detailed rules putting it into effect. The Chevron decision said courts should be hesitant to second-guess the agencies’ determinations. In the years that followed, judges cited Chevron in upholding rules that protect endangered species, speed up the approval process for new cellphone towers and grant benefits to coal miners suffering from black lung.

"The Koch network has challenged Chevron in the courts and its lobbyists have pushed Congress to pass a law nullifying the decision. It has also provided millions of dollars in grants to law professors making the case to overturn it.

"The network’s position has become increasingly popular in recent years. Once broadly supported by academics and judges on the right, Chevron is now anathema to many in the conservative legal movement. And there’s no more prominent convert than Thomas.

"In 2005, Thomas wrote the majority opinion in a case that expanded Chevron’s protections for government agencies. Ten years later, he was openly questioning the doctrine. Then in 2020, Thomas renounced his own earlier decision, writing that he’d determined the doctrine is unconstitutional after all — a rare reversal for a justice with a reputation for being unmovable in his views.

"By last year, Koch network strategists sensed that victory could be at hand. During an internal briefing for network staff, Jorge Lima, a senior vice president at Americans for Prosperity, said the Supreme Court seemed primed to radically change its approach to the issue. The network was trying to find cases that could bring about major changes in the law, according to a video of the meeting obtained by the watchdog group Documented. “We’re doubling down on this strategy,” Lima told the crowd.

"Several months later, the Supreme Court announced it would take up a case, Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, in which Koch network staff attorneys represent the plaintiffs. If Thomas and his colleagues side with them this coming term, Chevron will be overturned once and for all."

  15. Marco Rubio's hunt for "#AntiChristian bias" is creeping #theocracy

In a new war on federal workers, State Department employees are told to snitch on people with #Pride flags

    By Amanda Marcotte
    Published April 15, 2025 6:00AM (EDT)

Excerpt: "Unsurprisingly, a deeper read of the cable shows that 'anti-Christian bias' is the cover story propped up to justify Rubio's actual assault on freedom of religion at State. He's giving Christian nationalists at the agency a tool to harass and even Rpurge people who don't share their #FarRight beliefs. The definitions of 'anti-Christian bias' throughout add up to outrage that conservative Christians are expected to treat people who believe differently with fairness and decency.

"For instance, the memo asks for reports of 'mistreatment for opposing displays of flags, banners or other paraphernalia,' specifically during Joe Biden's administration. It doesn't take a doctorate in bureaucratese to interpret this. Rubio is seeking stories where conservative Christians were told to mind their own business after objecting to a colleague putting up a #PrideFlag, a #BlackLivesMatter sign or perhaps a religious knickknack from a #NonChristian faith. This might be more comprehensible if, say, any Christians had being told they couldn't wear a cross or have a picture of Jesus on their desk. Instead, what Rubio is suggesting is that Christians have [the right to] prevent other people from having the freedom to express views and positions they dislike — and that it amounts to 'bias' if they can't control what others do or say. "
