A new #European Citizen #Initiative regarding age verification is running from 27/07/26 to 28/08/27, regarding #ageverification.
It requests that new legislation is built with #privacy in mind, #decentralization, open implementations and publicly auditable encryption protocols.
It doesn't completely abolish age verification, but is a step in the right direction.

Le sens de la fête d’Eric Toledano et Olivier Nakache
Un huis clos dans un château avec multiples personnages et un objectif, très français, très à la mode : faire la fête. Toute une « équipe » chargée d’animer un mariage dans un château XVIIe en Île-de-France pour un gosse de riche très imbu de sa personne. Or l’équipe n’en est pas une, le mariage un malentendu qui craquera dans les années à venir, et la « fête » des bourgeois un joyeux bordel.
Rien ne se passe comme prévu car personne ne s’écoute. C’est l’organisation à la française, où chacun sait mieux que quiconque ce qui doit être fait sans se préoccuper des autres. Ainsi le niais Samy (Alban Ivanov), embauché comme extra à la dernière minute doit se raser et n’a trouvé qu’un rasoir électrique : il débranche donc un camion frigorifique pour sa barbe et s’en va, en se foutant de remettre la prise. Résultat : toute la viande gâtée, une expédition en urgence pour trouver autre chose, des feuilletés très salés et de l’eau gazeuse pour faire patienter et couper la faim. Heureusement que le marié fait un discours interminable et qui n’intéresse que lui pour tenir l’assistance.
Max (Jean-Pierre Bacri), l’organisateur de mariage est en butte aux prétentions de Pierre (Benjamin Lavernhe) et d’Héléna (Judith Chemla). Il est flanqué d’un beau-frère Julien (Vincent Macaigne) ex-prof en dépression et toujours vêtu d’un bas de pyjama qui est censé « aider » mais drague la mariée, une ex-collègue prof qu’il a retrouvée. Son adjointe Adèle (Eye Haïdara) a un vocabulaire de banlieue (d’où elle vient) et une conception du « respect » et de « l’honneur » toute égoïste : on lui doit, elle ne doit rien. Elle s’engueule donc avec James (Gilles Lellouche), le chanteur-animateur de la soirée, car lorsque son orchestre joue, cela fait sauter les plombs avec les fours de la cuisine. Il faudrait donc s’organiser, or chacun se veut prioritaire. Josiane (Suzanne Clément), maîtresse de Max, va draguer ostensiblement Patrice (Kévin Azaïs), un jeune gendarme qui fait serveur pour arrondir ses fin de mois. Guy (Jean-Paul Rouve), le photographe loser peu apprécié par sa prétention égocentrique, survient avec son stagiaire de troisième Bastien (Gabriel Naccache), la seule touche amusante de l’ensemble. De plus, un mec bizarre (Grégoire Bonnet), rôde autour des fêtards, une mallette à la main : ne serait-il pas inspecteur de l’Urssaf venu traquer le travail noir ?
Autrement dit, chacun poursuit son petit trip sur ses propres rails, sans souci des autres ni de l’ensemble. C’est ce que ne cesse de leur répéter Max, désespéré de cette bande de branquignols payés 100 € pour « la soirée » (16h-7h du matin), dont un bon tiers non déclarés. J’avoue qu’on ne se roule pas par terre de rire devant tant d’inconséquences. Certaines scènes sont drôles, mais dans la veine satirique. Une ironie méchante, plutôt amère, envers les nuls sortis d’on ne sait où et qui travaillotent par ci par là, sans expérience, ni métier, ni volonté de bien faire (Samy ne sait pas qu’on peut découper une horde de loups en cuisine, ni que les flûtes servent à s’enfiler, mais du champagne) ; envers les bourges sûrs d’eux-mêmes et enflés de leur bêtise, comme Pierre (encore lui) qui, c’est « la surprise », survole la foule des invités en ballon dans son costume blanc, comme un archange bénissant les manants. Il sera lâché par Adèle et James, qui tiennent les cordes et qui se découvrent attirés sexuellement l’un par l’autre. On le retrouvera cinq cents mètres plus loin échoué dans un champ sans qu’au fond personne ne s’en préoccupe, pas même « maman ».
Dans la nuit qui passe, la fête s’égare dans le popu, ce qui était formellement exclu par le marié ; on fait même « tourner les serviettes », comble du vulgaire. Le feu d’artifice est déclenché par deux clampins à qui Max avait bien dit d’attendre son « go » par téléphone. Surtout pas par texto ! Car l’imbécile de manager ne sait pas se servir de son engin et laisse « le correcteur » errer à sa guise dans ses messages. Et voilà que l’électricité saute une fois de plus, cette fois pour de bon. Max, qui voit qu’il ne contrôle rien malgré tous ses efforts, songe sérieusement à vendre sa boite et à se retirer. Il s’isole. Lorsqu’il revient, parce que Guy est venu le chercher, il s’aperçoit que ça marche bien tout seul : chacun s’est « adapté » comme il leur serine, et a pris de l’initiative. Les plongeurs tamouls se sont mis à la flûte et James les accompagne au piano. La danse est endiablée et tout le monde est content, même Pierre qui enlace son Helena.
Comme quoi, tout régenter d’en haut n’est pas la solution. Déconcentrer, laisser de l’initiative, est plus payant. Une métaphore du travail à la française. Pas de quoi rire.

wir laden euch ganz herzlich zum diesjährigen Sommerfest auf den Erwin Schoettle Platz ein.
Euch erwartet ein buntes #Kulturprogramm und viele Mitmach-Angebote. Eine Ausstellung der #Initiative, sowie eine Präsentation von Studierenden des Städtebau-Instituts der Universität #Stuttgart, bieten die Möglichkeit, sich über Vorschläge für die Entwicklung des Schoettle-Areals zu informieren, Fragen zu stellen, ins Gespräch zu kommen, und eure eigene Ideen und Wünsche für das Areal einzubringen.
Vorstellung der »Pioniersnutzung«
Aktueller Vorschlag der Initiative ist die #Pioniersnutzung, mit der ohne große Umbaumaßnahmen nach dem Auszug des Statistischen Landesamts, die Räumlichkeiten des Gebäudes genutzt werden könnten. Damit würde langer Leerstand vermieden.Die bereits weit über 100, an einer Pioniersnutzung Interessierten, der Themenbereiche »SoziaIe Angebote«, »Quartiersküche und Versorgung«, »Werkstätten«, »Performance und Bühne«, »Bildung und Bewegung«, »Bild und Ton« und »Ateliers« und »Live Club« werden sich an Pavillions und auf der Bühne präsentieren und zu Mitmach-Angeboten und Workshops einladen. Hier bekommen Besucher*innen ein Bild davon, was künftig im Schoettle-Areal zum Leben erwachen könnte.
Die „Quartiersküche“ wird mit Speis und Trank versorgen und gemütliche Sitzecken laden zu Gesprächen ein.
Das #Kulturamt und der #Bezirksbeirat Süd bezuschussen das Fest mit je 3000 Euro. Ganz herzlichen Dank!
