Since #Image2MIDI is getting some attention today, I just wanted to credit @yonder who actually did all the hard work of making the underlying code engine! I just wrapped it into a webapp.
If anyone is interested in what it can sound like, here's some links to tracks I made with it:

Looks like it's back online - https://image2midi.key13.uk - let me know if you get any issues.

Anyone using image2midi- it'll be down for a little bit while I move it to another server. Shouldn't be more than an hour or so, hopefully a lot less.
Also, I can see it does get a reasonable amount of use but I have no idea by whom - let me know what you're doing with it, I'd love to know!

So I'd like to be spending my "music time" working on one of the many big projects I have in progress - not least an entry for #FediVision which is coming up fast.
But of course my brain has other ideas, so here's another #image2midi track, based on the picture of my cat Millie that I took (and posted here) at the weekend.
You can "hear" her pink nose around 0:29. The black ears and eyes are an absence of notes.

That's very cool - I could imagine this creating some interesting stuff when used with @yonder's #Image2MIDI / #Image2BonkWave tool!

For anyone interested, here's an image of the settings used and the generated intermediate image that represents the MIDI notes.

My latest #Image2BonkWave experiment is a collaboration with @SrRochardBunson, who provided the image that forms the basis of the composition.
As with previous experiments none of this would have been possible without @yonder's amazing #Python script doing the hard work of #Image2MIDI conversion.
As always no MIDI notes were harmed (aka altered), only suitable instruments and plugins were used to best represent the vision of the original artist.
