Oh.. The HA cluster thingy worked like a charm when the node didn't come back online. Never tested it..so now I know.
Bad thing is, the migrated VM was waiting for the disk encryption password after HA kicked in. Didn't have that in mind when I configured HA and the VM ^^

Keep learning about Ansible, VS Code, and GitHub.
Today, I published my first playbook on GitHub. Nothing super fancy, it's a simple script to update multiple servers, VMs, and LXCs running on Debian/Ubuntu. It was a valuable exercise to prepare for my next playbook, which is more ambitious (for me).
Any feedback, suggestions, and more are welcome. ☺️

I've been trying for six hours to find out why I'm seeing #network #dropouts every minute today in the #monitoring of my #selfhosted services. I restarted everything, rewired everything, took the server offline on a rolling basis, and so on and so forth.
At some point I realized that both, the primary and the identically configured backup instance of my #nginxproxymanager (on a different host) are online in parallel. But hey, it wasn't #DNS this time. 🤯🤬😤

Next-gen #homlab testbench update:
I'm *extremely* proud or this kludgy mess of an RTX A2000 with an externally bolstered-on 40mm Noctua fan (even if the deshrouded GPU+60mm fan was actually performing much better). :blob_raccoon_heart:
The 60mm fan could actually keep the A2000 from throttling through an entire 10min real-life gaming benchmark run (#FFXIV Shadowbringers benchmark) and was on-par with the stock setup in result, while the 40mm fan actually thermal-throttled halfway through. That said, both configs were virtually silent and the fan noise was completely inaudible even at full blast! :blobfoxcomfycomputer:
Getting all this to go fully passive will be tough, despite the 70W TDP the A2000 chip runs mighty hot, but the RAM goes even hotter, the RAM chips can withstand 130°C and thermal throttle at 105°C
