Hab mich ne ganze Zeit mit dem Dingen rumgeschlagen, nachdem ich es aufgebaut hatte. Ständig hing die Verbindung und das Gerät verlor die WLAN-Verbindung.
Turns out: Brother kann nur 2,4GHz, und wenn man ein paralleles 5GHz Netz mit der gleichen SSID hat (wie normale Menschen), dann mag der Drucker das nicht.Unifi sei Dank: 2. Netz mit anderer SSID aufgemacht und auf 2,4GHz sowie den nächsten AP limitiert. Und schon läuft das. War doch ganz einfach!

After setting up the Unifi Travel Router, I couldn't access my synology from my iPad (connected via ethernet to the UTR). Turns out it may be an issue with Safari (though maybe not a Safari issue, specifically).
I don't have a valid cert on my synology as it's only accessible on the local network. So normally when I enter the IP address, I get Safari's "may not be secure" warning then proceed.
But today, when I tap through to proceed to the site while connected over Teleport, it never leaves the error screen. I was also able to repro when trying to connect to my UDM (unifi router). But when I try either in Chrome on the iPad, it's able to open the sites. I'm also able to connect to the Synology, and my desktop Mac file share, via the Files app.
Spamming tags in case any unifi nerds are watching them.

The latest version of the UniFi Network app finally allows you to enter the hostname (instead of IP) for a WireGuard server when configuring the UniFi Travel Router. Previously you had to import a config file to make that happen. This is an important addition for anyone who relies on dynamic DNS to phone home. #Ubiquiti #UniFi #UniFiTravelRouter

The latest UniFi Travel Router firmware update, version 6.5.246, has a couple improvements I’m excited for:
1. The UTR can now uplink to Wi-Fi networks that use 802.1x, or “enterprise” authentication.
2. It can broadcast a secondary network—useful for people who have an IOT SSID at home and want to travel with things that connect to that network. (But the mobile app doesn’t support configuring this just yet.)

Isn't there a framework to set them all up from Linux, like, with a JSON file or something?

Today's #selfhost project was updating #homarr with integrations instead of just apps. Got #Unifi, #Proxmox, #HomeAssistant, and #PiHole done. Couldn't get #Nextcloud to work, though.
