Ok, geeked again now that some Aliexpress parts arrived.
Have added a 10Gb SFP in the Lenovo P330 that's my Ubuntu Server Homelab. It was easier to go straight to SPF using a PCIe riser card; then mess around with 2.5Gb ethernet in this device. The fact my office switch had a 10Gb SFP port unused... it made me say why not :)
Now to have fun learning and documenting using a Bonding interface, to make the SFP primary, with the ethernet as backup.

After two weeks of faffing around - I used an old #Unifi UAP (POE module courtesy of @Ryanteck ) to provide my own SSID and I can finally remote into an old #RaspberryPi 2 using the nice Raspberry Connect facility, and remote reboot it when I've made changes to the website it displays :-)

Now running #UniFi OS Server with Fedora #CoreOS on #Proxmox. Just one "terraform apply" command, from VM creation to service running. OS and Unifi Server are both auto-updating with zero manual maintenance.
Thanks to @moreentropy!

I think it's getting to the point I should be seriously considering a real, proper, big boy rack. (Writing this up makes me think a Homelab tour video is in order).
Top row - Unifi UCG Fiber Gateway with WAF110 + Anker USB-C power station
Row 2 - PDU
Row 3 - 3x m90q in proxmox cluster with 64gb RAM each (from the before times) plus 3x 1tb nvme ceph cluster each node has a sfp+ NIC, PiKVM with 4 port switcher (love this thing)
Row 4 - Unifi 10 gig agg
Row 5 - Patch
Row 6 - USW 48 Pro Max (screamin' FB marketplace deal, such an awesome switch)
Row 7 - Unifi NVR
Row 8 - Zimaboard (running DNS, my network VIP, a few other core services split in HA with a Pi5 upstairs), Framework desktop as my primary dev workstation all via SSH.#selfhosting #selfhosted #proxmox #unifi #cluster
Out of shot, my NAS which I document here - https://perfectmediaserver.com/01-overview/alexs-example-builds/

At the mall food court. Kids are off "exploring" on their own while I mooch off the Tropical Smoothies wifi and teleport to the home network via the #Unifi travel router.

@RockyC Nice stack (virtually and physically)! Wondering which of those two NAS devices is Wrecker and which is Crosshair!
My homelab is 100% #Synology + #unifi from hw standpoint. Running about 90 #containers for all kinds of things among 5 current devices, with 2 more coming within a months time.
Also have one HP just as you for Prox testing but thats about it.
