The Haunted Book Shop in downtown Mobile, AL, was first opened in 1941 by Adelaide Marston (later Adelaide Trigg) and Cameron Plummer, & named after their favorite book, The Haunted Book Shop, by Christopher Morley.
The bookstore closed in 1991, to be re-opened in 2018 by Adelaide's granddaughter Angela Trigg.
