I've spent much of this past spring & summer working on this handbag, made as a birthday present to my mother, executed according to her wishes and specifications. All #leather parts are #handstitched and the main material is vegetable tanned calf. I hope she'll like it, despite the imperfections. #handmade #leathercraft #maker

Here is the ugly tote I was working on, right after I finished it, in a pub, whilst watching the World Cup game between England and France. I made it to hold my traveling tool box, finishing kit and projects when on the road and that's what's inside. Just finished this case for my Japanese-style saws & extra blades for my frame saw. Saves a bit of space when I can hang them on the wall. The long edge is closed with leftover pieces of lacing so it can be opened should I need to add some extra fittings or such in the future. #leather #handmade #leathercraft #maker #handstitched

Here is the dice tray I was working on. It is obviously nothing complicated. I just had to make sure the side slits were wide enough to accomplish the folds but not too wide and that the stiffening panels on the sides met up in the corners but didn't interfere with folding.
My partner has named it "Andrew."
