There's an arts fair I want to participate in but they need a photograph of me making my goods. I understand why they need this given there are so many people fronting as artisans for products made in China and elsewhere but I also value my privacy. Now I need to have someone take a picture of me, working in my studio, that shows enough of me for confirmation but not enough to make me uncomfortable. Slow day at the fair today due to light drizzle but we're still here. Moved stock toward the center of the canopy so it won't get damaged. It's a little crowded but not as crowded as it would be if we'd not sold a few big bags yesterday.
There's a petting zoo across from us so at least there is free entertainment. #TownsendFair #LeatherCraft

It was a great audience for our leatherwork. Sometimes folks like our work but it's out of their price range, which I totally understand. One of my current projects is a holster for a 1911. I like this design because it can be used as a regular OWB or can be connected to a harness (which I am also making) to convert it to a shoulder holster.

I just cut a leather template from an acrylic sheet so I can use it offline, but I think I prefer to cut the leather directly with the laser cutter.
Meanwhile, the printer is pumping out Dumpling Clickers.

Still waiting for the Glock holster and Hellcat magazine pouch to dry so I started working on the shoulder harness to go with my friend's 1911 holster. I rather like the setup of the set because the holster can be used horizontally on the shoulder harness or vertically on a belt.

Did I mention I'm scanning my patterns and using the laser cutter to produce the pieces? I need to adjust some settings but I am pleased so far.

Making a prototype pancake dual magazine pouch. With how I designed it, it should be ambidextrous. This one is sized for my Springfield Hellcat, but I think I can size it up slightly and make it universal.

The pieces were laser cut from 6oz veg tan leather.
