My first ever attempt at a leather belt bag, using scaps from a local leather shop.
I wish I had a more fitting buckle, but I had to use what I already own(low income). Hopefully I can get different buckles soon!

I used to keep my cutting dies in the second drawer of this little tool chest but the drawers don't open all the way, the dies get mixed up and it's often hard to find the die I am looking for. I found this drawer at a charity shop for 75 cents. It's designed to hold Keurig cups but works perfectly for my dies. Here is the dice tray I was working on. It is obviously nothing complicated. I just had to make sure the side slits were wide enough to accomplish the folds but not too wide and that the stiffening panels on the sides met up in the corners but didn't interfere with folding.
My partner has named it "Andrew."

Here is the end result of the handbag I was making. It is completely leather lined with two pockets and a key chain holder. Every part of this bag was hand formed and hand saddle stitched. It takes much longer to assemble this way but saddle stitching is far superior to machine stitching and results in something that, with proper care, should last for generations. #LeatherCraft #Leather #HandMade #HandStitched #maker #DesignedByHand
