tonight I went to #HEMA fighting practice, and... got to play with axes. I did my usual #rapier practice. and then we got out some axe trainers, plastic fighting axes designed to simulate the real thing. and it was holy crap, fun! I don’t wanna give up fencing, but wow, that was fun.
