I used the 22-minute After School Special "THE HALLOWEEN THAT ALMOST WASN'T" starring Judd Hirsch and Mariette Hartley as a classroom Halloween treat every year during my career, following its release in 1979. Kids loved it. #halloween #publicschool #publicschools #publicschoolteacher #teacher #teachers #schoolteaching #halloweenparty #halloweentreat #juddhirsch #mariettehartley #television #classictelevision #tv #classictv #vintagetv #vintagetelevision #1970s #prestigetelevision #teaching

Horror creeps on softened shoes
It's tentacles reach out for you
No place to run
No place to hide
No place to calm
The fear insideHorror creeps on softened shoes
It slowly crawls inside your mind
You feel the fear
You feel the dread
You'll feel it now
Until you're dead!Horror creeps on softened shoes
