I have lived in 🇨🇦 for two months now and can confirm the Canadian equivalent to “Would you like fries with that?” is “Would you like gravy with that?”

Quite often, it’s not even clear what food item is supposed to be paired with the gravy.

But momma didn’t raise no quitter.
