Three asset classes, one art direction: our latest pack for Global City, the mobile city builder by Red Brix Wall.
Six city characters, a 24-tile avatar set and two batches of isometric buildings. The buildings reinterpret world landmarks for the game grid, the avatars stay readable shrunk to a profile circle.
The hard part of a mixed pack is not any single asset, it is making all three read as one game.

i actually was drawn into digital art via pixel art, and i don't think that's where my (modest) talents lie, but i do like to dabble in it. for my dining room diorama, i wanted a couple paintings for the walls and put these together in aesprite.
i couldn't resist doing Peach in the style of Girl with a Pearl Earring once the idea came to me. i kinda cheated by drawing it over the top of the original, but i'm still happy with it. (i am decidedly NOT good at portraits)

returning to my "nerd who's ambition is to do the boring stuff for someone's game project" roots, i put together this little diorama of a victorian dining room in low-fi style.
my headcanon is that this is an antique house being lived in by a modern couple, so they have a mix of antiques like the dishes and painting frames and some more modern/thrifty stuff like the table set.
was gonna do a whole series but got distracted.
