  1. I #love this #door. The bright #red colour. The #pattern of the #design looking like huge fingers opening the door. The #cat bowl outside, just in case the loved one needs a snack. The seeming mix of #modern and #old. It was a #rainy day, yet this door made me #smile. Life is great. We define the #elementsofreality. How do you think humans survive the most atrocious, trauma-developing situations? #Embrace your challenges! It seems #impossible, but practise turning #frowns into #smiles

  2. #January 4, 1801
#OTD Charles Swain, English #Poet, is born.

His poem, Forgive & Forget, is a #Keeper.

    #Forgive & #Forget! The #World would be #Lonely,
    The #Garden a #Wilderness left to deform,
If #Flowers but #Remembered the chilling #Winds only,
& #Fields gave no #Verdure for fear of the #Storm!

Then away with the #Cloud from those #Beautiful #Eyes
That brow is no #Home for such #Frowns to have met:
Oh! How could our #Spirits ever hope for the #Skies,
If #Heaven refused to forgive & forget.
