I've watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood surely 40 times by now.
In general I appreciated every character more with every iteration.
On top of that, the older I get, the more I appreciate Hughes; The more I faced mine and others grief & depression the more I appreciate Winry

If you follow my work, you know I'm a big fan of revisiting old drawings and paintings I did and seeing how I can improve them with my current skills. This time I wanted to tackle an old fan art of Rosé Thomas from FMA, one I've redrawn a couple times already!

Here's the gouache paintings to start my sketchbook with. I love Alphonse Elric and I loved these screenshots from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Gouache has always been my comfort art medium as I've been practicing it since I was a kid (it was the most common art supply where I lived) and I'm getting back into it after many years of not doing anything. I really want to improve techniques soon. Gouache is great and playing around with himi gouache has been a blast so far.

For the second one my dumb ass painted over the sketch of Al with opaque paint and I lost my guiding lines. That was very unfortunate.
