I admit that with #FOSDEM and even #fluconf2025, I have an incompatibility - for me, it's work-related stuff *on weekends*.

That's ... not happening in my 40s anymore.

I can't compensate easily by taking time-off under the week, because my friends and close ones have to work then, too.

It's a conundrum.

i thought this was an incredibly tone-deaf acronym for, i don't know, Free-Libre Unconference, but in fact #FluConf2025 is an online-only conference precisely because #COVID still rages on amid plenty of other disabling-to-deadly diseases.
