The head guy for #eoma68, Luke Leigh ton, got multiple grants from #nlnet totaling over $350k for the libre riscv project while representing himself as “an ethical technology specialist who has a consistent 24-year track record of developing code in a real-time transparent (fully libre) fashion, and in managing Software Libre teams.”
As he was publicly documenting his failures on Eoma68, nlnet funds him for libre riscv and then he abandons Eoma68.
Did nlnet even vet this guy?

It’s quite the roller coaster ride if you’ve got time to read.
TLDR: the guy heading the project(Luke) clearly has some issues and is probably hiding something. Small run of test cards show back up after 2 years and may actually get shipped.

@Nbardiuk this thing if everything goes well will be a very nice addition in the libre hardware area. It has been more than a year I believe since I supoorted it. Seems the arrival is finally coming sooner than later. I'll let you have a look at it when I get it. 😌
The whole #eoma68 is very interesting. One of the best things is going for standardization of the platform so later you can upgrade thr SoC without replacing everything around it.

the time the 2.7.5 samples are done, March by the time 1,000 sets of components are ordered.May-June by the time a batch of 1,000 PCBs come in, June-July-August by the time they're assembled, tested, start getting shipped to the USA distribution hub.
