In #Midlife, Muriel gave up #Poetry for #Garden #Writing.
In her #Book, #Fool's Garden (1936), she wrote,
"Even the #Tiniest garden... is #Ennobled by #Planting #Trees.
Otherwise, the #Walls #Lean in, & there is nothing to #Lift your garden above the #Eye... to #Hide the peering #Windows, #Lavatory & #Clothesline of the #House next door."
