Playing around with enigma 1/2 as a #bbs today. It's now live on wilderland.ovh:9500
I'm not sure if this is actually all that useful, but it's a bbs and it's running on my vps.
Already spent way too much time trying to troubleshoot typos in the config files.

@sinza it’s in development, but Enigma 1/2 BBS has been adding Fediverse/ActivityPub support. Its functional now, though there is a bit of polish still being worked on. When that launches it will be an awesome way to get any vintage computer on the Fediverse. #bbs #EnigmaBBS @NuSkooler https://github.com/NuSkooler/enigma-bbs

Halloween is over, pretty much everything is boxed up and ready to go to storage. After that, I should have time to do some #enigmabbs development on the #activitypub support branch, readying it to go to main!

I think I'm missing quite a bit, but this is the overall status of #activitypub support in #enigmabbs #bbs software.
`oputil` is being updated to give +op tooling, a bit more polish, and a few more rando checklist items, then this thing can go up on #xibalbabbs for real testing!

New #enigmabbs users now have avatars randomly generated for them that show on #activitypub / #mastodon. Later they will be able to change their avatars in their settings.
