Still using cheap plastic pet tags? I upgraded to https://taglec.com/ and the difference is clear.
Engraved stainless steel (won’t fade), super durable, and easy to read. Some products have 500+ reviews, which gave me confidence.
Small thing, but if your pet ever gets lost, this matters.

Just found a really solid pet tag site after trying a few over the years: https://taglec.com/
They’ve been around for 8+ years, and it shows. Lots of products with hundreds of reviews (some over 500), which gave me confidence to try.
What I like:
- Stainless steel engraving (not printed, so it won’t fade)
- Feels durable, not like cheap alloy or plastic tags
- Custom infoHonestly, for something as simple as a pet tag, quality matters more than expected.

- continued 32-bit ID range investigations. Looks like we need to add a custom config option to guard seamless upgrade to subid
- Rob and Flo merged random serial numbers support for CA by default. This is a change and is a bit controversial, so only for new installs on new 389-ds mdb backend for now.
- #Dogtag PKI 11.6a1 is in Fedora, contains sub-CA support for ACME. Hopefully, will test this with #FreeIPA. -

No #RedHat ImageBuilder updates for a while, I know. I've been busy with #dogtag #CertificateManager instead.
Still feel like I'm the first ever to use some of these technologies, where searching for issues comes up empty every time. This is like the old days, before the Internet, where figuring out how to do things could take days.
Yes, you can archive TLS cert private keys in KRA for later retrieval.
