@robertcasties please think about introducing the same special track or "mini-conference" (inside the conference!) to the @DHd confs from #DHd2025 on. At least a panel or a discussion-focussed workshop like the one on LLM/KI last year should be easy enough to get through the review process.
And best wishes to you and all at #DH2024, sorry to miss the fun on-site, for reasons of current work load, scarcity of travel budget and more so, environmental considerations.

Really fun to see PhD candidate Trent Wintermeier present on AVAnnotate -- a project that was first developed for UT Austin prof Tanya Clement by Brumfield Labs. We're working on version 2.0 with Tanya and the Brumfields. I've been working on this all year from the initial designs & user stories, and it's been awesome to see the pieces start to come together. #DH2024 #DHTech

Nick Laiacona of Performant is talking about Edition Crafter — a tool for publishing low-cost and sustainable digital critical editions https://cu-mkp.github.io/editioncrafter/ #DH2024 #DHTech

A bit more on the creation of the Maria Edgeworth Letters Project -- the letters were transcribed by volunteers via Zooniverse: https://buff.ly/3SD0jBU
There are a lot of other projects and tasks for volunteers who want to help researchers code data (everything from sunspots to baby sounds!) https://buff.ly/2TNtUc2

At #DHTech this morning, and in the first presentation, Bryan Tarpley from Texas A&M mentioned the New Variorum Shakespeare project, and I very happily went down A Midsummer Night's Dream rabbit hole -- this is really cool! https://buff.ly/4d9YZyO #DH2024

@jamiefolsom @Performant @nick_laiacona @anindita I'm also looking forward to @nick_laiacona's presentation in our #DHtech mini-conf on Monday!
