I have been whining about custom axes in #Affinity for #VariableFonts.
Testing a font with custom axes that worked, I was surprised and looked deeper into it.
#PurpleHaze has been produced with #fontmake and .designspace. The font that worked was straight out of @glyphs.
@behdad what is fontmake doing differently to Glyphs.app?The font works now (exported from Glyphs), still not seamless but in twenty steps like discussed in the forum.
There is also a chance that my .#designspace is wrong? -

I just want to be able to write in #Arabic with my #Cricut. Is that too much to ask? Apparently, since Cricut refuses to support Arabic in #DesignSpace.
