This morning I #decluttered some annoying judgements in my brain by doing a 10 minute #metta loving kindness #meditation.

While I meditate most days, I don't often focus on this style, but I really should more often. It is powerful for #mentalhealth, not to mention an antidote against being stirred up by relationships and over-stimulation from the Internet.

As part of my ongoing work on my well-being, I have finally #decluttered my utility closet. It involved moving some stuff into a storage unit nearby in my neighborhood, Elfa units from The Container Store, a lot of planning, and elbow grease. I even added some wireless lights. It's not "perfect" (perfection is NOT the goal) but it is a huuuuuge improvement.

The clarity this has created in my life... 🥰

I realized there was a major #clutter explosion at home. I’m also coming to terms that this is a function of my #sensory and #emotional #overload. Have had some recent #school #stress related to #actuallyautistic son’s incomplete #supportplan. #escaped to #family #holiday weekend, and was #horrified at their fascination with #hoarders TV show. Back home and feels good to have #decluttered. Would love to learn #strategies to better manage this through a stress event. @actuallyautistic
